Vincent Sciarra, Chief Executive Officer
As a founder and President of Acuative, Mr. Sciarra brings vast knowledge and understanding of converged networking and IT challenges, requirements and applications as well as the dynamics of the enterprise and carrier marketplace, to position Acuative as a leader in the industry.
Mr. Sciarra has over 20 years of experience in corporate management, sales of services and products, and product design. As one of the founding partners of Acuative in 1984, he was instrumental in providing technical field support services to the new emerging telecommunications carriers in their efforts to win market share after deregulation.
During the last 15 years in the field services industry, Mr. Sciarra has been a key player in pursuing markets and developing products for a number of the largest, most successful public and private companies throughout the United States.
Prior to Acuative, he held a key management position with Butler Design Services, a firm providing engineering services to the telecommunications industry.
Mr. Sciarra holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickenson University.
Rich Ackerman, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Ackerman is a founder of Acuative and has over 18 years of experience in voice and data communications working with end users and service providers. He has a broad background in communications technology including leadership roles in pursuing large business opportunities for technology deployment. His experience gives him the ability to tackle complex opportunities that require collaboration with other organizations to develop innovative and responsive solutions to large customers and government organizations.
Prior to the establishment of Acuative, Mr. Ackerman was employed at Larson Co. a service contracting organization.
Patrick Danna, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Danna joined Acuative in November 2007 and brings a diverse combination of technology and high-growth company experience to his position as Chief Financial Officer. He has responsibility for finance, administration, business process and information systems of the company.
With more than 25 years experience in financial functions, including strategic planning, corporate accounting and reporting, tax, treasury, M&A and risk management, Mr. Danna has held financial officer positions with both public & private companies. Most recently from 2001 to 2007, Mr. Danna was with Fundtech, Ltd., in Jersey City, NJ, (Nasdaq: FNDT) a multinational provider of software solutions and services of end-to-end financial transaction processing for financial institutions. As Sr. Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, he was responsible for global accounting and SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley implementation and compliance, budgets, forecasts and treasury management.
Prior to that position, Mr. Danna served as Vice President, Controller at ClientSoft Inc., in Hawthorne, NY from 1999 thru 2001. Other positions held by Mr. Danna include Vice President, Controller and Treasurer at CHI Energy, Inc., in Stamford, Conn. and various levels thru Partner at Bencivenga & Company, CPAs in New York City.
Mr. Danna is a CPA and holds a B.S. degree from Seton Hall University.
Carlos Mendoza, Chief Information Officer / Executive VP Operations
As CIO / EVP Operations, Mr. Mendoza brings 18 years industry experience to Acuative. With a proven creative approach, he leads Acuative teams in Operations, Product Development, IT/IS, Business Process and Professional Service. In this capacity, Mr. Mendoza bridges the expanse between business and IT, ensuring that all Acuative client ventures are properly developed, implemented, integrated and supported.
Before joining Acuative, Mr. Mendoza was a Partner and Chief Information Officer for Teldata Control Inc. (currently part of Tangoe), an industry-leading Telecom Expense Management firm. Additionally, he founded and served as president of Bsns LLC, an organization dedicated to the simplification of business processes through intelligent automation.
Originally an Aerospace Engineer with Fairchild Republic and Grumman, Mr. Mendoza moved into the world of IT and Telecommunications during the mid-80s, holding various senior positions at Contel Business Networks and CCMI McGraw-Hill.
Mr. Mendoza earned his B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Polytechnic University, New York.
