“I am writing this letter in recognition of the unbelievable effort put forth by your field technician last week at the correctional facility.

When he arrived at our facility I had just found out that we had some critical wiring issues that were not previously known to me or the facility. I informed him of this situation and the potential that this wiring issue could stop the cutover scheduled for that afternoon. Your technician stepped up and offered our facility staff his expertise in identifying the problem. I requested from the facility Deputy Superintendent that your technician be given authority to consult with the facility maintenance staff. He quickly assessed the problem and offered the maintenance staff recommendations to correct the wiring problems thus, giving us a chance to possible complete the cutover at the appointed time.

I am happy to report that the maintenance staff resolved the problem by implementing your technician’s recommendations and we all connected to the bridge with the service provider and performed the cutover and testing of the video equipment in 9 minutes. I cannot thank your technician enough for his ability to and willingness to jump in and help resolve this project stopping issue. He has more than demonstrated what professionalism and commitment to excellence really is. I would like to ask you for a favor and please personally thank him for me. Your company is lucky to have the caliber of individual that he is. His actions and in-field performance are the benchmark that I will measure all other contractors against from this day forward.

“I worked with a 3rd party until 12:30 AM trying to get a tech onsite for the next day. I decided to reach out to Acuative and called the resource number and your dispatcher worked with me for less than five minutes to confirm that your technician could indeed work the trouble and restore service on the router and the modem. In five minutes I had confirmed a tech who was DOJ/DEA cleared to perform the work.

I want to thank your dispatcher for her courteous voice, and willingness to assist. I did not have to impress upon her the since of urgency she checked her information and confirmed the tech for labor. She was friendly, efficient, and professional.

I also want to thank your technician for understanding the complications that can arise when working with DOJ. When he arrived on site he was a little early and the site was unmanned. He called me and I started working with our tech support to get him a site contact to call. He called again when the parts arrived and needed to leave the part I authorized him to sign for it. While your technician was going through security the 3rd party non-cleared technician showed up. Your technician called again and let me speak with him. I advised the 3rd party technician he had to leave. When the work was complete your technician provided the status.

You may think that I don't appreciate his professionalism but I do. With the site unmanned, another technician may have called his dispatch and canceled the work. In signing for the part he was insuring that there would be no delay in the restore of service. When the 3rd party technician showed up another tech may have opted to let him do the work. Henry called me so that I was aware and could advise on each of these incidents. He is conscientious in his work, and courteous in his people skills."
