Striving to Make an Impact
Acuative cares about important issues in our communities and the environment. Our company and team members strive to make an impact locally – and in the world.
We divide our focus into two main areas: Community Involvement and Environmental Sustainability.
Whether it’s working to help raise money to find a cure for cancer, collecting food for those in need or sponsoring families over the holidays, we are dedicated to helping the people and communities in which we operate.
Below are a few of the charities that Acuative has supported over the years:
- Achievement Centers for Children's Camp Cheerful
- Adopt A Family Association
- ALS Association [Watch Video]
- American Cancer Society
- Berea, Ohio, Children’s Home and Family Services
- Children’s Specialized Hospital - New Jersey
- Coats for Kids - Cleveland
- Harvest for Hunger
- Littlest Heroes
- Reach Out and Read
- Retail Orphan Initiative (ROI)
- Susan G. Komen for the Cure
- The Ronald McDonald House® of Cleveland
- Toys For Tots
- United Way
- Wounded Warrier Project
In addition to our community involvement, Acuative takes its role in the environment seriously and actively promotes environmental sustainability through recycling.
Our commitment to the environment is put into practice through two corporate initiatives.
First, our corporate recycling policy – each of our offices recycles paper and aluminum cans.
Second, as a technology company we update and deploy new technology on an ongoing basis which leads to a surplus of outdated equipment. Instead of disposing this equipment in the trash, Acuative has implemented a no landfill policy – all computer and electronic items are sent to a certified green vendor for processing and recycling.
