Acuative Veteran Tom ReaganThis Veterans Day, we’re proud to recognize the service and sacrifice of our team members who have worn the uniform. Today, we highlight Tom Reagan, GCC Supervisor, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve from 2000 to 2006 and deployed to the Al Anbar province of Iraq in 2005 with the 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

What’s one memory from your time in service that’s stuck with you?

“Standing in front of the Iwo Jima Memorial after finishing the Crucible, our drill instructors pinned the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor on us while Lee Greenwood’s song played on repeat. That moment has stayed with me ever since.”

What skills or values did you gain in the military that you carry into your work today?

“Teamwork is what sticks with me the most — in urgent or chaotic situations, everyone working together and doing the little things that make success possible. I’m proud of the team I work with here at Acuative — my colleagues always step up and assist wherever they can. We accomplish so much more when we work together.”

What inspired you to join the military?

“My father and grandfather were both Marines. I grew up wanting to do my part, just as our country’s warriors have done throughout history.”

What would you like to say to fellow veterans on this day?

“I’m proud to stand among all veterans. It takes a special kind of dedication — when the country called, every veteran raised their hand and said, ‘Send me, I’ll go.’ Whether in peacetime or combat, all chose to be ready to sacrifice.”

At Acuative, we’re honored to have veterans like Tom on our team. This Veterans Day, we thank all who have served — your courage, commitment, and sense of duty continue to inspire us every day.
