Independent audit by A-LIGN confirms Acuative's managed network service enclave solution for federal, state, and local government meets FISMA High and Moderate baselines under NIST SP 800-53 Revision 5

FAIRFIELD, N.J., Aug. 24, 2026 Acuative, a leading provider of managed network services and technology deployment solutions, today announced the successful completion of its annual 2026 third-party assessment of its FISMA managed network service enclave solution for federal, state, and local governments. The assessment, conducted by A-LIGN, an industry-recognized Third-Party Assessment Organization (3PAO), covered the FISMA High and Moderate security control baselines specified in NIST SP 800-53 Revision 5 — and returned zero findings.

The Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) requires federal agencies, by law, to operate and/or use IT networks, systems, and services that comply with an applicable FISMA security control baseline. Achieving a zero-findings result against both the High and Moderate baselines demonstrates the continued maturity and rigor of the controls Acuative has built into its enclave solution since the program's inception.

Operating since 2020 and independently assessed each year since, Acuative's FISMA managed network service enclave solution is a unique offering in the industry, delivering managed network services from secure, FISMA-compliant, U.S.-based worksites and data centers. Acuative's U.S.-based worksites are staffed exclusively by U.S. citizens holding applicable agency Entry-on-Duty (EOD) authorizations and security clearances. The solution's geographically diverse, U.S.-based data centers are located within secure Equinix IBX facilities, which house Acuative's privately hosted FISMA platforms.

The solution is vendor-agnostic, currently supporting managed Cisco, VeloCloud, and Fortinet technologies, giving federal, state, and local agencies the flexibility to align with their existing network investments while maintaining full FISMA compliance. As agencies continue to modernize their infrastructure and face growing scrutiny over how they secure it, an independently verified, zero-findings compliance posture gives program offices a level of assurance that is increasingly difficult to find in the market.

"Achieving zero findings on this year's FISMA assessment is a direct reflection of the discipline our teams bring to every layer of this solution — from how we vet and clear the people who staff our facilities, to how we architect, monitor, and maintain these environments every single day," said Greg Hill, Director, Practice Development at Acuative. "Federal, state, and local agencies are under constant pressure to modernize while proving they can defend their networks. This result gives them independent, third-party confidence that Acuative can deliver both — without compromise."

Acuative will continue to undergo independent third-party assessment of its FISMA managed network service enclave solution on an annual basis, ensuring federal, state, and local government customers have ongoing, verifiable assurance of the solution's security posture.
